U.S. Patent 7,208,279 was issued to Caden on 24 April 2007. This patent covers Caden’s methods for identifying peptides and small molecules which block G protein coupled receptor mediated signaling with high affinity and specificity. This patent and several other pending applications protect Caden’s core peptide technologies.
January 5th, 2007 - Bill Clarke, M.D. named to Caden Board of Directors
Bill Clarke, CEO of Cellectar Corp., was recently elected to Caden’s Board of Directors. Dr. Clarke was formerly the Executive VP, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Technology Officer at GE Healthcare. Prior to GE, Dr. Clarke was Director of Biological Sciences at Glaxo Wellcome.

Caden Biosciences, Inc., a life sciences tools and services company developing assays for the high-throughput screening of allosteric modulators of G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs), has closed on a Series A Preferred Stock financing led by Baird Venture Partners (BVP), the U.S.-based venture capital affiliate of investment firm Robert W. Baird & Co. (Baird).

September 18th, 2006 - Bioscience firm will move to Madison
Baird Venture Partners will announce today that it is moving a Chicago-area biosciences company to Madison as part of a $5.85 million financing round. Caden Biosciences Inc., which is developing screening tools to identify new drugs that would treat a variety of diseases, said it will move to Madison from Evanston, Ill., at the end of this month.
